Evo all not detecting Dlc purple wire,

0 votes

Have a 2005 Silverado Z71. Have the evo all byoass installed with a Crime stopper RS34 remote start. For a couple of years the system worked flawlessly. Went to use it and the truck wouldn't start or unlock the doors. Removed my wiring harness to find the Purple wire in the 20 pin connector broken at the end of the connector. Marked the location and depinned the wire, resoldered the wire to the termnal. Reinserted and went to program the unit. The blue light comes on, when turning the key on the blue light goes out and the red light does not come on. Through the troubleshoot it states that the bypass is not detecting the Dlc connection. Checked the connection at the port is good. Voltage is present at both sides of the wire. Was ondering if this is a sign of a malfunction with the Evo all bypass?

Thank you. Flashed the Evo all to the proper version and  it picked up and programmed properly. Now at least it is locking and unlocking my doors, Problem is now the remote start isnt working. I will go through the actions. Lights on, Fuel pump kicks but no starting. Have checked all wiring and all seems good. Using a Rs4-G5 unit.
