RF642W will not start 2010 Tahoe

0 votes
I have a really odd problem, I installed an EVO-ALL with GMT4 T-harness in a 2010 Tahoe and added a RF642W remote kit.  I can start the vehicle with 3X Lock, but not with the RF642W.  I have the RF kit option H2 selected, I got the visual on the EVO-ALL and the blue blinking light on the RF antenna that my remotes got paired with the EVO-ALL, but they still do not work.  just for the heck of it I changed it to option H1 and was able to start the vehicle with the lock button on the RF642W, but was unable to shut the vehicle back off.  I am not sure why I can not get any reaction from the my RF642W remote with the option H2 selected.  Also, this vehicle also had a factory remote start installed, I douibt that has anything to do with it but just thought I would let you know.  Any ideas?

Reset the unit: http://fortin.ca/en/download/61931/61931.pdf

Reprogram and do dcryptor process.

Dont forget to re-enable all proper options after the reset.

I also tried that yesterday. I put in probably 2 dozen of these and have never had a problem like this. I wish I had a spare evo all to test it against. I think the evo-all is bad.
Redo it please. The RF was being disabled during dcryptor process. This was fixed yesterday evening when i posted my comment.
Ok, I made sure RF was enabled but I will try. I will have to make a time to get the vehicle back at my house to try it though.  I also went back to older firmwares with no luck either so not sure if a new firmware will do the fix?

It's not the firmware, it's not the EVO. Problem was with the Dcryptor process itself canceling out the rf.
Oh I got you, I will give it a shot!  Thanks for the responses!
