Does warn away chirp work on Evo-One

Question

How can we get the warn away chirp to work with the evo-one and a 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander? We have tried a 3pin shock sensor and wired a 4pin, both will not produce a warn away chirp only set off the alarm? Do we have to program that separate?

warn away and full trigger rely on the length of the pulse given to the unit.

example:

• less than 0.6 sec pulse = warn away
• more than 0.7 sec pulse= full trigger

Ok, so is it a programming thing or is it not available to have warn away on the evo-one?

Are you using a 2 stage shock sensor? What brand and model is it?

shock sensors normally have adjustements on them for this, it's not part of the evo-one programming

Ok, on the shock sensor there is an adjustment for sensitivity but it only sets the alarm off, it doesn't have warn away chirp. We tried a compustar and the one I have in right now not sure what brand. I was told that Fortin now has a shock sensor for the evo-one, is this true?

So I asked around, currently, the warn away may have a bug in that it nevers actually triggers only warn away. We will have to wait until this is bench tested again.

 As for the Fortin shock sensor, the unit is labeled as FSS (fortin shock sensor). You will not find it on the fortin.ca website but it's available through distributors. Keep in mind this would not fix the no warn away issue.

EVO-ONE was just tested in front of me with the Fortin shock sensor (FSS). Works perfectly on warn away and full trigger.
