Fortin E400 compatiblilty

Question

Looking for compatible replacement remote for fortin e400 module that initially came with Antenna Fortin "AM"

Looking to replace just the antenna if need be that can work with my originally installed E400

Hello,

Replacement remotes if you can find them are the ATX5, however they have not been produced for quite a few years now.

 

If you provide the s/n to the e400 I can advise you what remote & antenna kits would be compatible as replacements.

You would need the entire kit (remotes antenna & cable).

You would also need to update the e400 using the falsh link manager and bring the fw up to date to support the newer rf kits.

Just found today there is an EVO all canbus interface unit also connected it also needs to be updated. Is there a manual or guide to update formware on both?

Updating firmware on evo all in one can bus module and connecting new antenna rf kits will make it work?

No. The evo-all will not take any remotes.

Also do not update it. if its working it does not need updating, you may not even be able to depending on its age.
