Can someone clarify how to pair a RF remote (in my case the RFK912) on a Push to Start Car (mine is a Mazda 3 2023)

I have the remote start working with the OEM key fob, and have the RFK912 antenna wired in and the Evo-One programmed to support it. But I can't figure out how to get the antenna into pairing mode so I can pair the RF remotes.

Hello,

Here is one version of the programming for evo one:

- Unlock the vehicle with the oem remote

- Turn the ignition ON-OFF-ON (the led on the antenna will illuminate)

- 4x on the brake pedal (the led on the antenna will blink with each brake press)

- The led on the antenna will begin to flash rapidly

- Press and hold the start button on the 912 remote

- The led on the remote will flash blue, go out, illuminate red, go out, then illuminate blue

- When the remote illuminate the blue led solid, let go of the button

- Program any additional 912 remotes the same way

- Ignition off

- Test

I figured out the issue, you aren't supposed to actually turn the engine on (brake + push-to-start).

You have to press the push-to-start button twice to get the car into the "on" state, then press it again to turn it off, then press it twice again to get it into the "on" state.
Correct, glad you got it going!
