The chiming seems to be a result of the installation of this unit.

Question

The chiming only began after I installed this unit. I did not occur prior, I have never touched the wiring in this vehicle prior to installing the remote start. However, I'll disconnect and reconnect the unit and let you know the result.

If you did not install this then take it back to the people that did so they can check their install.

 

If you are the one that did it, then besides for trying the easy test of disconnecting the 20-pin connector, you will want to see where these wires are connected and if they are connected..
