EVO-All + Prostart into Impala (Passlock II) - wont start

0 votes
So I have a Prostart 4 button, and evo all.

I have firmware 4.06 (required) on the evo all, and even got it to program correctly I believe.

The doors lock, unlock and the trunk opens, when I hit start then I can see the evo all have red LED blinking and yellow constant I think, and it wont start.  It will light up the instrument cluster first time but no crank no start.

I have prostart set to fortin bypass, and I believe the prostart is done all well because all the doors and everything goes.  If I hit the start and then put the key in, I don't have to go all the way to crank because the starter/bypass kick in and it starts and runs.

Any ideas?

The Impala requires 2x Accessories (orange and brown) and 2x Ignitions (pink and dark green) to crank and start up.

If the Prostart is one manufactured by Autostart, they only allow 1-way communication though datalink. Meaning that the remote starter can talk to the EVO but the EVO cannot sent info to the remote starter. Your options here would be to use wire-to-wire instead of datalink or cut the Blue wire in the datalink and connect all required outputs from the EVO (such as Tach and Foot brake) to the remote starter.
