2014 crv evo-one

+1 vote
Hello, I am having a remote start issue with a 2014 crv using the evo-one with the thar-one-hon2 harness The unit was flashed by the selling dealer lessco electronis.  I've followed the installation guide connecting the two door lock wires and grounds. The unit programs fine but does not remote start with 3x lock. I do get blue lights when pressing the lock/unlock so I'm assuming it is seeing lock and unlock inputs. Please help thanks! I've ordered a flash link to troubleshoot unless there's something I'm missing.

When using EVOONE enable the 3x lock in start in the remote starter side of your module (Option 38 mode 2). On the bypass side enable oem remote monitoring but disable 3x lock starter.

I will have to double check the flash when my own flash link gets here. I'm leaning towards it not being flashed correctly by the dealer. It's unfortunate there are no fortin dealers close by me. Also that's just the service number on the back of the module. Thanks

Your unit is flashed with the appropriate firmwares.

You need to enable option 38.2 in the remote starter options and also turn on option C1-OEM Remote Monitoring in the bypass side options.

Enabling options is done through the Flash-Link Updater.

Thanks. I will check those options when my flashlink gets here tomorrow.
Just went in and both C1 oem remote monitering and option D1 stand alone enable were off.  So ive enabled both now and will update this thread when i have the chance to reinstall the evo-one  Thanks again for the help! Im sure thats going to fix my issues.
SUCCESS!!  The evo works great now that those two settings are correct. I sure wish we had a Fortin dealer nearby but now that i have the flash link i am good to go. Hopefully, the crimestopper revo-4 kit i ordered works well. I hate the oem honda fob since it doesnt allow door lock operation when running. Thanks again everyone for the support
Excellent! The REVO will also work great. There is a step by step guide here : https://fortin.ca/en/technology/rf_kits.html  jsut make sure to grab the EVO-ONE pdf and not the EVO-ALL.
Just out of curiosity....is there a limit to how many remotes I can program ? Can i do say two crimestopper 4 button and a one button?
4 remotes and yes you should be able to use 2x 4 button models and the single button model. As long you are staying within the same manufacturer.
Revo-4 kit works great with the evo! They should sell them together it works so well! Thanks again for the help. I have another evo-one, t-harness and revo 4 to install in my 14 accord next.
Last crv question. Is there a simple way to activate the rear defroster? Or does it have to be hard wired? If so what out put from the evo and what color on the crv harness?

According to that service number it was never flashed?

To check the EVO-ONE status, there is actually 2 service numbers.

The one on the sticker will give the remote starter side firmware status and options. So what you are actually seeing when checking the number he gave was the remote starter firmware and options (if the options tab was actaully opened it would show options).

To see the bypass side, all you need to do is change the second number after the B to a 2. In this case, the bypass status can be seen by using 002B02006032.
