2001 suburu factory alarm how do i disable it

i am working on a 2001 suburu forester, the factory alarm goes off when remote started,.... how do i disable it... ? sean

The alarm can't be controled in this vehicle. If you look in the user manual of the car there is a sequence to put factory alarm into valet mode.

You need to enable unlock before start / relock after start in the remote starter options.
