No parking lights

+1 vote
I installed the EVO-ALL with the CHRT5 on a 2006 Chrysler 300C and everything work well---EXCEPT the parking lights do not come on when I remote start. I connected the the wht/brn wire in the headlamp switch harness including a 2.4K ohm resistor.

I leave my lights in auto mode and I wonder if that could be the issue.

You can try switching your switch to the OFF position to see if that solve the issue.

It works with the switch in the off position but I only use the auto position. There has to be a way to activate the lights at another point so the switch position is not relevant I would think.
Try with 1670 ohms. If it still does not work, you may need to relay isolate the connection.
I'll try that. Can you share how to isolate the connection with a relay?

Cut the vehicles white/brown parking light wire.

  • Pin 85 : (-)trigger from evo
  • Pin 86 : Fused 12V (about 5 amp)
  • Pin 87a : to connector side of cut white/brown wire
  • Pin 30 : to vehicle side of cut white/brown wire
  • Pin 87 : to the resitor, then resistor to ground.
I tried isolating the connection as instructed but no change in functionality. I can hear the relay activating (clicking). I picked up the 12V at the 12V+ at the ignition switch where the evo is plugged in (I assume that's OK).
