Are you looking for the start/stop wire in the vehicle or where to connect the yellow/black wire of the EVO-ALL when using the stand alone feature?

Where to connect the yellow/black wire?

Thanls
Thank for your support
It does not connect to the vehicle. It's used as an external trigger to start/stop the vehicle from another source.

Basically, ground that wire car will start. Ground it again and car will stop.
In what case is the external start/stop feature used for anyway? Have got got any examples on when and how it this used?

A negative trigger on that input Starts the vehicle and another trigger Stops the vehicle.

Any other aftermarket piece with at least 1 auxilliary ouput can be wired to the external trigger to have the vehicle remote start.

Example:

  • Evo installed as Stand Alone unit
  • Aftermarket alarm also installed.
  • Use the auxilliary output of the alarm to trigger the (-)external trigger of the EVO.
  • Poof! car remote started.

Thanks for the comment!!

I guess this will also be the same case with the lock/purple and unlock/purple w/ white input wires
Correct!

The purple and purple/white wires are inputs to lock/unlock the vehicle.
