2010 Ford Escape which has t Harness and Evo all

using remote start module as well configured

with d2d . Do I need to hook up driver door pin wires ?

What do these wires accomplish when hooked up ?

The driver pin will,

• shut down the auto-lights (if equipped)
• allows arming the oem alarm from the aftermarket system (if equipped with oem alarm)
• allows the radio to shut off after the remote starter has shut down

For the 3 convenience features i listed, yes the connection needs to be made. This connection will not prevent the car from starting if it is not done though. So its really up to the installer if he connects it or not.
