2010 subaru outback. everything else programs nice in the flashlink manager with the key decryption and remote start program and flash. when i turn the key on and hold down the valet button the red light never flashes, if i just press it the times it goes into valet mode and the light turns on then and comes back out so i know its not the button itself. i have done a master reset by pressing button on the unit till its red then again till all the lights flash. and i have also done a master reset with the flashlink and completely reprogram the unit.

You could try this as well for remote programming, flash the remote starter to 1.17

Then this is a new sequence for remote programming:

Remote programming:

-Ign on

-Ign off

-Ign on

-Press and release brake pedal 4 times

-press buttons on remote required to program.

If system is armed enter valet mode, then exit valet mode.

THIS STILL DID NOT WORK. NOTHING EVEN FLASHED FOR ME. ONE THING THAT I DID NOTICE IS IF I TURN IGNITION ON AND PRESS AND HOLD THE VALET BUTTION ( THE RED LIGHT NEVER TURNS ON) BUT AFTER I LET OFF ON THE BUTTON AND TURN IGNITION OFF THE HORN CHIRPS ONCE AND THE RED LIGHT FLASHES 4 TIMES THEN?
The led that should flash when entering programming mode is the one on the side of the module, in the same opening as the yellow loop.

After turning ignition on you have about 5 seconds to hold the programming switch.

You have to hold the seperate programming switch, not the one on the module.

I ran into the same issue on a 2011 subaru outback, come to find out the brake wire that they call for goes to 12 volts when the ingition is turned on,i had to test for another brake wire at the switch.Everything programmed fine after that.
