Evo All setting off CEL for Can communitcation

I did a stand alone install with T harness on a 2017 Jeep Wrangler.  A week after the install the CEL came on for code U0002 High Speed CAN Communication Bus Performance.  When the customer stopped by I plugged my scanner in and it was no longer a current code, so I erased it figuring it was a freak thing.  2 days later it is back again.  I know the Wrangler does not get the MUX hooked up.  Is it possible that for 2017 that is causing the issue?  Or am I better off rolling back the firmware?  Any other ideas please let me know.

Have not seen a U0002 on Jeeps yet.

Lower firmware or check the T-harness first in case of broken pin on one of the can lines. Broken can line may give that fault.

 

Has anything else been added to this jeep? like on of those insurance bidules that connect at the OBD to track your driving?
