What's needed for Compustar G15 2-way RF Kit and EVO ONE to work?

-2010 Subaru WRX regular key, manual transmission-

I have purchased the following so far:

Fortin EVO ONE

Fortin Flashlink Updater

2 Bosch Relays (one for starter, one for clutch as per instructions)

Now, from what I've gathered, once hooked up, all should work well with the OEM keyless entry Fob.

I am planning on purchasing the Compustar G15 2-way kit and I know there are 2-way remote kits that require a decoder or converter for the antenna to communicate with the EVO ONE unit.

Does the G15 require this?

If so, is it included in the box?

If it doesn't need a decoder/converter, can I just plug the Compustar antenna into the EVO ONE?

The reason I ask is because some of the install instructions mention switching some of the wires on the 4 pin connector around before plugging in.

Last question: Someone on another question said they were waiting for a "diode" to come in before wiring their clutch switch to the system. What diode is this and will I need it?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Decoder is in built in to the antenna. The kit probably comes with a little adaptor so that you dont need to swap the wires. There will be a tag on that little adaptor that says for ADS but will work with the evo-one.

Follow the proper guide for the clutch connections... The other post may have been for a newer vehicle which are lower current. So diode instead of relay would be enough.

Thank you for clearing that up, Robb.

So I may have everything I need with just the following:

EVO ONE
Flashlink Updater
Compustar G15 kit
2 relays (no diode)

Correct?
looking good!
Okay so I have everything installed and decryptor worked flawlessly after flashing the latest bypass firmware onto the EVO ONE.

I have flashed the latest firmware on the remote start side as well and set the "FIrstech" RF kit checkbox in "unit options"

However, I can't for the life of my get the compustar G15 remote to pair.. I am following the instructions by putting the key into the "on" position, holding the valet button (I get a quick horn honk after a few seconds and LED next to the looped wire flashes, then press the valet button once (horn honks on the press), hit the brake, then press "lock" on the g15 remote, but nothing happens. The PDF for compustar kits say that the parking lights should flash, but nothing happens. I hit the brake afterwards just in case, and turn the ignition off.

G15 2 way remote is still not working. If i press the button on the compustar antenna at any time (car can be on or off), the light on the antenna turns red and then turns green if I push the "lock" button on the G15 remote, so I know the remote is paired to the antenna.

Any help getting this G15 RF kit programmed to the EVO ONE? Thank you!

Also, I have tried to downgrade the remote start firmware to 0.96 (as suggested in another question on here) with no luck. Same result.

I have the 4pin adapter that came with the G15 plugged into the blue 4 pin header on the EVO ONE as well. This is the correct header I assume?

Edit: Another thought I just came up with is that I was messing with RF protocols on the bypass side before realizing that I wasn't int he remote starter side. Could this have messed with the programming? It's late now, but I will try to reset everything tomorrow. What is the correct master reset procedure where I can start all of the decryption, etc all over from the beginning?
I have the G15 pro 2 way on my car with evo one.

Try the following.

Flash the starter with 1.21.

Master reset the remote starter (valet switch 23 times)

Disconnecot power and ground from the unit.

Re enable your firstech option in the remote starter.

Then try pairing remotes.
I have the G15 Prime but I don't think it would be different in this case.

Does the key need to be in th "ON" position before I hit the valet button 23 times?

Yes follow this procedure to reset the remote starter:

Okay I was able to get it all working after a call to tech support (extremely helpful in troubleshooting and testing CAN programming, master reset, etc)..

BUT I can't seem to program the second remote?

I was able to program one but as soon as I program the second one, it unpairs from the first remote.

What is the correct procedure for pairing a second remote?
nothing, press lock on first remote, wait a couple seconds then press lock on second remote.
Interesting.. I am only able to get one remote to pair at a time. Any thoughts?

Also, is it easy to add an aftermarket blinking LED to the system in addition to the SECURITY LED on the instrument panel?
