i need the clutch bypass wire for 2014 GTI

Question

I have hooked up evo one and all is working if I hold in the clutch in for remote start

the wire A8  in guide 28891 ( GTI 2014, standard key, 6 speed) is not working and i do have the diode in place

i also tried the bcm tan plug wire location 30 and that did not work

also tried pin location 17 tan plug bcm black red , did not work

is the bcm putting out the ground or is the A8 evo one putting out the ground?  I have the diode the way pictured in the install guide28891

need a little help

The module is outputting ground to the clutch switch. Ground is what triggers the clutch bypass.

A5, A6, or A8 can be used to trigger the clutch wire.

I tried the wire hook up and unit still wil NOT start the car

any other ideas? I cant seem to find any other info on this car to get the clutch bypassed

I did one last week and plug it exactly like guide 61404. And it all worked fine
