Remote Start Not Working: EVO-ONE & THAR-ONE-MAZ3 on Mazda CX-9 2016

0 votes
I cannot get the remote start to work using an EVO-ONE with THAR-ONE-MAZ3 harness on a Mazda CX-9 2016. The EVO-ONE has been configured in Remote Starter to enable option 38.5 Lock-Unlock-Lock to remote start and the module flashes blue, 2x blue, then blue and nothing happens afterwards.

I do have the module firmware upgraded to 71.46 with options C1 and D2 enabled per the installation guide. Is it possible some of my other settings are not configured correctly?

What is the 12 digit service number of the module ? Also ensure that the Yellow loop is cut if the vehicle is Automatic transmission.

Thanks

12 Digit Service Number: 002B07200701

Yellow loop has been cut per guide as it is an Automatic Transmission vehicle.

Your unit is setup for Lock-Lock-Lock , not Lock-unlock-Lock
The unit was changed back to Lock-Lock-Lock but still does not remote start when pressing the OEM remote Lock 3x.
The module might be in Valet mode. Look underneath the yellow loop, if the red led is on turn the ignition on then press the valet switch 3 times to exit from valet mode, the red light will turn off.
Yellow LED is on when the ignition is on. Valet switch doesn't seem to do anything, even when I press it 3 times to enable/disable.
There is three LEDs on top of the module and another one(RED) inside the module that you can see through the yellow loop.  If it is On; it means that the module is in Valet and if it is the case it won't start untill you exit from valet.
Evo-One firmware was borked and had to reflash firmware on the remote starter side (v1.24). Amir walked me the whole way through on the phone. Remote start immediately worked. Thanks again, Amir!!!
