Remote Start having error if it detects a second FOB.

0 votes
2018 Dodge Journey, if the remote start is activated while the factory key fob is within range of the trunk sensor, the remote start (evo-all w/tharness) will have an error rendering the vehicle unable to start both with the remote or the dashboard button. The only way to fix it is to unplug power to the evo-all and then plug it back in. After doing that the vehicle will start normally. However I need to find a solution for this as it's left my wife stranded twice.

Are there any lights on, on the evo when that happens?

I'm going to have to try and duplicate the problem and look. I did not check the lights the last time it happened.
while you're there, take the YELLOW/RED and YELLOW/GREEN from the units red connector and tie them together.
