2020 Civic PTS car start before programming

Question

As part of the regular installation (without Harness), you have to cut 3 wires (cut1 and cut 2 on BCM 3 and cut 3 on steering lock module)

After making all the wiring connections, the next step (before programming) is to make sure the car starts normally.

If you have made wire cuts (and made the connections as per the instruction on page 3), will the car start without connecting the EVO One?

Do I need to connect the EVO One module to ensure the car starts before programming?

Yes, connect the evo-one prior to trying to start via the PTS button.

 

Then disconnect it and start programming.
