Need help getting past step 9

I get to step 8 remove battery and try to push to run can’t do it battery no battery in remote

If your vehicle is push button start:

Refer to your owners manual for emergency starting. The vehicle must be able to start with no battery in the remote. It is designed by the manufactureur like this.
