Do I have to hook up the External Input (yellow/Black)

I am using the Thar-Char5 and evo-all with a 2013 Jeep Wrangler unlimited Sport.  I installed system and it works fine but I did not connect A13 (External Input and A14 parking light out Brown/white.  I just connected the ignition A1 yellow wire. Two things...Do I need to connect anything else?  If so what?   I know where the parking light wire is but I am not sure what to connect to the External Input A13.  I used Connection C from the installation guide.

You won't need anything else :)

The external input (A13) does not connect to the vehicle. It acts as optional way of starting or stopping the vehicle. This is useful if you were to install an aftermarket alarm later on; a negative pulse to that wire will start/stop your vehicle.

 

The (-)Parking lights (A14) output if connected to the vehicle will require a relay. The vehicles parking light wire is a positive signal, the EVO supplies a negative signal.

 

I do recommend though, that you do the connections to the Dk.Blue wire (A8). This is for the safety of you mechanics or anyone working under the hood.
