2013 ram 1500 only works with driver door open

Question

i installed the evo all according to the instructions and connected to the purple wire on the bcm by the firewall. The remote start will only work with the driver door open and will turn off as soon as the door is closed. is there a different wire i should be connecting to?

Was a connection made to the drivers door pin?

Aside from the evo-all what else is installed in the truck?

i believe that purple wire is the drivers door pin. the evo-all is the only thing i have installed in this truck otherwise its stock.
