2020 Mazda CX-5 Auto Hold Does Not Work When Vehicle Started Remotely.

+1 vote

Hey everyone,

I just installed the Fortin Evo-One in my 2020 Mazda CX-5 and everything works fine except the Auto Hold feature, but only when the car is started remotely. I've made sure all doors are closed, my seatbelt fastened, car fully stopped in drive and I just get 3 flashes.

When started normally, it works just fine.

I've tried re-flashing the Evo-One module and tried running the DCryptor sequence again but same issue both times. Unit was installed with the THAR-ONE-MAZ3 T-Harness.

Has anyone else had this issue or have any troubleshooting advice?

We are aware of this. Two options for now.

1. Flash vesion 0.38 as a Remote Starter firmware (not the bypass firmware). No need to reprogram anything, just plug it in, and try it out

2. Enable option D3 - Door open Shutdown

To flash by firmware, go into Pro Mode by clicking the gear icon in the top right corner.

once in pro mode, select the <Remote Starter> tab.

Once in the remote starter section, choose <View other firmwares>
