evo start 2

Question

I bought an EVO-START2 to add to my EVONE + THAR-ONE-MAZ3 installation. After re-flashing do I need to do the whole decrypt process again?

Also do I connect the yellow wire to A1 or E5 onto the harness?

Hello,

No you do not need to flash, program or dcrypt the evo-one in order to program the ES2.

The yellow wire gets connected to ignition, so either one would work.

I have recently bought Evo start 2 for my Evo one which I have been using for more than 2 years on my mazda cx 3 2019. At that time I did not choose the app start option. Can you let me know where did you end up connecting the yellow wire.

I have followed the following steps and it was not working and then i realized that the yellow wire needs to be connected.

Ignition ON - OFF - ON (While holding the brake)

Press and release brake 4 times

Press and hold the Evo start button until green

Turn OFF Ingition

Hey, sorry, I didn't see your question, I hope you figured it out by now. I connected it to a loose yellow wire that was not being used on the T-harness. I cannot remember where it was connected to TBH, and I traded in the car, so I cannot verify. Good luck!

Dont press the brake to actually start the car. You simply want iginition (need to press 2x on pts for ignition). So... 2x on PTS, 1x on PTS, 2x on PTS.
