evo ride will not complete program

Question

The evo ride is connected to an 80bit key 2013 F150 ford (verified with voltage test) Module goes through all the programing/ blinking with the two keys. When i activate the remote starter to complete the programing the module led stays red and does not blink. The module label states it has firmware 2.xx.

If it takes too long for the starter to power up ignition, the car knocks itself out of programming. Try the other method that says to just power ignition? (remember that step 2 is not required for 80bit keys)

 

The Key1 - Key2 procedure is the factory ford programming procedure for adding additonal keys. This requires 2 master keys and the timings of key1 on, key2 on, are important. If you want to test your timings, it's super easy! Without even trying to program the EVO, turn key1 On (3secs), then Key2 (3 seconds), then turn Key1 back on. The doors lock will cycle if the car allowed you to enter programming.
