Four Pin Non Stop Beeping

2005 Corolla S

On the bypass evo ride; when I go to sync the unit to the vehicle using programing step 3 the car continues to beep as if the key is in the ignition when I have the door open. When I close the door it stops and when I start the vehicle it stops.

Any ideas?

Sounds like an issue with the key sense connection always resting at  ground when it should not be...I would take a look at that to start...
