Regular install vs. stand alone install

Question

Under the EVO-ONE 2016 Highlander PTS options, it lists "regular install without take over" and "stand alone install without take over"  Does the stand alone install just add remote start capability using 3X remote lock of the factory fob?  Also, since both options are "without take over", I'm assuming there is no way to remote start then unlock/drive without shutting down and restarting with the key, correct?

Correct. The stand alone install is for use when the evo-all will be controlling everything on its own and would be controlled either from the oem remote (when compatible) or through an RF-KIT.

 

Regular install is a typical remote start install using a separate remote start unit.

 

For both installs, the vehicle will shut down when opening a door.

Thanks. Can you suggest an RF unit for the standalone option that can replace the OEM remote and all of its functions.
