stand alone evo-all does not start my Jeep

+1 vote
I purchased a stand alone kit for my 2011 Jeep as a stand alone unit to use the factory key fobs.

It all programs up as described but after registering the key it will not start the vehicle. When I press the lock button the blue LED flashes and I can make it flash 3x but the vehicle does not even attempt to start.

I read about option #15 but I purchased it as a stand alone unit. I didn't expect to have to get a flash programmer.

The box also says it is a stand alone unit.

What is wrong. Very frustrating. Easy install but I have redone it several times to check I did it correctly.

Please help.

Hi John,

The standalone feature is an option in the EVO that is required to be turn on. Typically, if you bought this unit off eBay or Amazon, the reseller should of done it for you.

If you give me the 12-digit service number written on the back of the EVO i can check to see the option is turned on.
