Difference between THAR-ONE-HON6 and THAR-ONE-HON7?

0 votes
Hello,

What are the differences between THAR-ONE-HON6 and the new THAR-ONE-HON7 T-Harness?

I looked at the wiring diagrams of the two and the only difference I see is that on THAR-ONE-HON7, wirings for D4 and D6 have been added.

So essentially THAR-ONE-HON7 is the same everywhere else?

I noticed that on the diagram, the T-Harness is labeled THAR-ONE-HON6 v2 instead of THAR-ONE-HON7.

My car is a 2017 Honda Civic Si MT PTS.

Thank you.

The new THAR-ONE-HON7 now include wiring for takeover.

When using THAR-ONE-HON6 you must shut down engine when door is open.

The new t-harness was initially named THAR-ONE-HON6 v2 but was rename HON7 to avoid confusion.

Thanks for the reply.

What were the wiring changes on HON7? Is it just wires D4 (White/Green) and D6 (White/Red) on th 6 pin connector on the EVO-ONE to the Blue pin on the 12-pin grey connector?
no, there's a bunch of interupts added everywhere. Take a look at the no t-harness guide. http://fortin.ca/download/80011/evo-one_ig_reg_bi_hon_civic_2016_pts_c_80011.pdf

This is the original hon6 style: http://fortin.ca/en/download/70781/70781.pdf
Thanks for this, Robb.

Now I gotta find a retailer that sells the THAR-ONE-HON7 T-Harness in Toronto. I haven't had any luck finding it yet.

Guys,

do you know if the HON7 was ever sold as HON6 v2 when it first came out? I'm wondering if the new t-harness is in circulation as HON6 v2.
