Compute shutdown during flashlink update and now it can't find the flashlink

Question

So my computer shutdown in the middle of updating the firmware on the flashlink device and now it won't work at all. No options are given to do anything with it.

Click HELP, then choose CANCEL FlashLink Update.

Then, disconnect/reconnect your flash link.

 

If the computer shutdown though in the middle of an update, it may have corrupted the module.

I tried that and all that happens is the blue led flashes on the flashlink. It doesn't seem to actually cancel the the update. Does it take a while to complete?
