2020 Kia Sorento Push-To-Start - Evo-One - Key Take Over not working

0 votes
Hi, I have a 2020 Kia Sorento Push-To-Start and installed an Evo-One. My key take over isnt working. All doors are closed, started the car, unlocked the car, pressed the start/stop button once then pressed the brake pedal. Car still running at this point. The moment I press on the shifter button, the car dies. I checked all my wires and all the wires are good and connections too.

Check that you have the proper wire on the car that we labeled, TAKE OVER CONTROL. This is the number 1 cause of take over not working.

Aside from that, things to check.

  • Option D6 enabled
  • Start/Stop 1 and Start/Stop 2
  • Diodes

Thank you Robb. I knew that everything was working fine and I had rechecked my wires prior to asking the question. So, I went to check option D6 and it was not activated. Activated it and it works now. You re a lot of help!
