Using program 3 on the hummer H3 2010 connection 8

The red led does not turn solid yellow after 3 second crank instead it has a flickering blue at the top yellow in the middle and red at the bottom.

The 4 pin data is cut and only red and black are connected

Has anything changed on the vehicle? Is the original radio still there?

Here are 2 tricks for the Colorado, Canyon, Hummer connection.

  1. Ground the EVO at the Pin4 or 5 of the OBD junction connection. It's a black or black/white wire. One is a bcm ground and the other is a body ground.
  2. Don't connect the red connector on the EVO-ALL. Leave it disconnected.

I will give this a go

Thanks
I have a 2007 GMC Canyon with factory radio replaced with aftermarket one. Will this affect anything?

Do you mean to ground the EVO-ALL through the A8 pin (Ground while running)?

Did you connect the ground while running from the evo to the ground while running of your remote starter?

Did you test to see if the ouput from your remote starter is actually providing a ground to this wire? Doubt its a faulty unit...

this had previously programmed to spec but suddenly started showing a flickering blue and solid red along with the yellow...
it should show red (gwr) thats normal, as well as yellow(ignition) and blue (j1850 communication)....whats your issue your having?
previously the yellow light was the only one illuminated and I was able to start the car with the key

now the flashing blue    yellow/red combination leaves ignition dead no activity on crank until i unplug the Evo
If the red led is on, this means the evo is currently activated by the remote starter.
